Born the daughter of Hannah Seldon and William Macon, Elizabeth married James Heath on September 21, 1820 at "Fairfield", according to the Richmond Inquirer.
They had three children (William S. Heath, born Sept. 6, 1821 and died May 17, 1836; Richard Moore Heath, born in 1823 and died on November 9, 1856; and Ellen Maria Heath, born September 29, 1837 and died April 24, 1860).
