Sometime in the early 1860's Junia moved to Oregon with her parents and siblings. She married John Howard Staats on 31 Dec 1869. After John's death in 1871 she married James William Leonard on 23 Sep 1876. The family knew him as "Uncle Bill Leonard."
The only evidence of children born to this marriage is the 1910 census which indicates Junia had one child. There is a Prince Leonard buried near Junia who was born in 1878 and died in infancy in 1878. In 1910 Andrew J Leonard "foster son" is living with James and Junia and in 1920 he is with James in Los Angeles, California in 1920. Andrew is probably not a child of Junia.
