James Glick Dies at Martin Huser Home Funeral Services Thursday Afternoon James Glick, 74, died at 9 a.m. today at the home of a foster daughter, Mrs.Martin Huser, of Monroe, after several years’ illness of complications. His wife, Carrie, died September 2. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Surviving in addition to the foster-daughter are three grandchildren, one great-grandchild; three foster sisters, Mrs. Leon Deigel and Mrs. James Studler of FortWayne, Mrs. Robert Hathaway of Springfield, O.; and four foster-brothers, Troy Babcock of Logansport, Frank of Florida, Sylvan of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Charles of Fort Wayne. Two daughters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Monroe Friends church, the Rev. Russell Persons officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Dale Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Lobenstein funeral home to the residence Wednesday morning. Decatur Daily Democrat December 2, 1947
