Mrs. Cora M. Ridgley, 92, a pioneer resident of Richland county and the widow of William S. Ridgley, passed away at noon on Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Effie Hanson in lower Madison township.
She was born in Edwards county on September 18, 1858, and had spent her entire life, since her marriage in 1877, in Richland county.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Effie Hanson; a son, Arch Ridgley; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren, all of the home neighborhood. Mr. Ridgley passed away in 1926
Funeral services were held on Sunday at the Marion Christian church, with interment at the nearby church cemetery under direction of the Schaub Funeral Home.
