William Hills Cheney of Paoli, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2010, surrounded by his family.
Bill worked as an engineer for General Electric for 39 years. He was very active in the Main Line Power Squadron, loved golf, boating, and Hawaii.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sylvia; son, Harold; daughter, Laura; grandsons, Jason, David, and Matthew.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda, in 2008.
There was a memorial service Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Great Valley Presbyterian Church in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
