Leona (known as LEE) was born in Missouri, Nov 25, 1926 to Harry Curtis and Orvilla L.(Terry) Sentman. She had an older sister Louise. She had a hard life. Married at 18 years old to Marvin Stevens,she gave birth to two children. Marvin Stevens Jr., January 1,1945 and Paddee Stevens August 21,1950 she gave up in a 1952 divorce. She married Raymond Carter 1956. Gave birth to Penny Lee Carter July 1, 1957. Leona died December 16, 1966 as a result of injuries sustained in a September 1966 automobile accident. She was just 40 years old. We all still miss her very much.
