Livonia Deborah White, b: May 29, 1850, Black Brook, (AuSable Forks,) Clinton County, NY, daughter of Elijah and Deborah (Babbitt) White, Jr.
Not much is known about Livonia's childhood, except her mother, Deborah (Babbitt) White, died shortly after Livonia was born. Her father then married a woman named Nancy J. --??-- Spaulding. They had one daughter, Hattie M. White, born circa 1863. There is a Hattie White in the 1880 census, Rutland, Rutland County, Vermont, with a Richard M. Spaulding, (45,) his wife Mary (44) and several other people. Hattie, born 1863, is listed as a "servant." I believe this is "our" Hattie, living with a relative of Nancy's. More research is needed.
Livonia never talked much about her childhood, but, we do know that at some point in time, she went to MO, as did some of her siblings. She married George Washington Jackson, February 18, 1868, in DeSoto, Jefferson County, MO and they lived in MO, IL and finally in CO.

Livonia was in AZ visiting her daughter, (Adeline Vera (Jackson) Monroe, when she had a stroke and died. She was returned to Denver and buried beside her husband of almost 53 years, George Washington Jackson.
