Dale H.Hextell, age 77 years of Fairbury, IL formerly of Rural Morris, IL, died Sunday evening, August 30, 1998 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 1998 at 2:00 P.M. at the West Lisborn Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Greven and Rev. Ernie Rex officiating.
Burial will be in the West Lisbon Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fruland Funeral Home in Morris, IL. on Wednesday, September 2, 1998 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
He was born on July 7, 1921 in Saratoga Township, Grundy County, IL. and was the son of Ole and Martha Erickson Hextell.
He grew up and received his education in the rural schools of Morris.
On May 1, 1949, he married, Aldora L. Hauge at the Newark Lutheran Church.
All of their married life was spent farming in Saratoga Township and in Maple Park, IL. For the last three years, they have lived in Fairbury, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Aldora of Fairbury, IL. Many relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy, one sister, Edith Kleven, and one sister in infancy.
He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Lily Lake, IL.
