Ruth was born in Independence, KS to Raymond Roy and Alice Violetta Biggerstaff Hoffman. Ruth married Manley Biddle Oct 10, 1928 in Toronto Ohio. They lived there until 1955 when they moved to Oakland, CA. After Manley retired they moved to Grass Valley, CA. They had a large garden that produced plenty of vegetables and fruit for family and friends. Ruth loved to paint and gold pan.
