A graduate of Westfield High School,1943. He was a life long farmer in Westfield and Sheridan areas. A member of the Hortonville Methodist Church, Hamilton County Farm Bureau, and served on the Westfield School Board for several years.
Survivors include his wife Jacqueline Louise Koons; sons, Jim L (Lynn)of Sheridan, Col. John A (LeAnna) of Dumfries, Va., Joseph A (Lorraine) of Raeford, N C, and Toby (Amber)of Sheridan; daughter, Laura J (Gary) Cummings os Spencer; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceded in death by his daughter, Donamae Roudebush; and a great-granddaughter.
