DARDANELLE — Era D. Land Davis, age 92 of Dardanelle, found eternal peace on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Jan. 6, 1920, at Harkey's Valley to the late John and Alice (Maggie) Campbell Holt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Loyd Land, Roe Davis; a grandson, James Gadberry; son-in-law, Bobby Gadberry; two brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Velma Gadberry of Dardanelle; stepson, Jim Davis and wife Linda of Emmet; stepdaughter, Betty Eatherly of Branson, Mo.; three grandchildren, William, Randy and Diane; 13 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren and special friend Joyce Martin.
Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Johnny Whorton officiating. Burial was in Ard Cemetery. Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. at the chapel prior to the service.
