Lois L. Patzer, 51 Years, 4 Months, 7 Days, of 431 Evergreen in Rogers City, died Saturday, August 31, at home following a long illness.
Youngest of seven children born to John and Martha (Schaedig) Brege, Mrs. Patzer was born Lois L Brege on April 19, 1934 in Moltke. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She married George Patzer on October 27, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Moltke. Mrs. Patzer was a member of St John Ev Lutheran Church in Rogers City.
Survivors include:
...her husband of 33 years, George E Patzer;
...a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Joan) Grohowski of Grand Lake;
...five brothers: Norman, Howard, Wilbert, Herbert, and Eugene. all of Rogers City;
...two sisters: Mrs. Raymond (Elizabeth) Curtis of Huron Beach, and Mrs. Wallace (Laura) Roeske of Rogers City;
...four grandchildren, and
...several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, September 3, at St John Lutheran Church in Rogers City, the Rev Samuel Sherouse officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Brietzke-Gatzke Funeral Home in Rogers City.
Memorial contributions may be made to St John's Memorial Fund.
