Jerry passed away at Capital Medical Center August 12th at age 64 after a long fight with cancer. She was born August 10, 1946 in Centralia to Floyd & Delphine Wilson. She attended schools in Rainier, Centralia, and Rochester. She married Bob Orning in 1964 and had 3 children, Doug (Sharon) Orning, Sheila (Jeff) Coler & Don (Crystal) Orning. She had 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She worked at Weyerhaeuser Nursery for 20 years and then for Food Services at Rochester Schools for 6 years. Jerry enjoyed quilting – donating several for raffles – spending time at the beach, baking, collecting Pepsi memorabilia and spending time with her grandkids. She was on the Grand Mound Rochester Citizens Group & liked helping out whomever & whenever needed. She is survived by her husband Bob and her children – all from Rochester – and her siblings, Charles Wilson of Tenino, Roberta (Jack) Froschauer of Rochester, Kay (John) Frady of Sumner, Elaine Klamn of Tenino & Darla Reinhart of Blue River, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Shelby Rae. Graveside services will be held at Grand Mound Cemetery.
