Services for Janice Murray Allen, of McCall Creek, are 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on Natchez Drive with burial in Ramah Baptist Church Cemetery in McCall Creek.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allen, 63, died May 12, 2009, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 19, 1945, to Alfred Murray and Cora Mae Hall Murray.

She was employed at Delphi in housekeeping.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, A.J. Allen, of McCall Creek; a son, Kevin Allen, of McCall Creek; a daughter, Janet Halford and husband, Chad, of McCall Creek; a brother, Lemuel Murray and wife, Jean, of McCall Creek; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Landry and husband, Wayne, of Greenwell Springs, La., and Elaine Black and husband, Cloy, of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother-in-law, Pete Allen, of Bogue Chitto; and her eight grandchildren, Alex, Kasie, Taylor, Tyler, Kaden, Austin, Dawson and Brandon.
