She was born November 18, 1920 in Marshall County, a daughter of the late Clarence Everett and Hannah C. Staley Clutter.
Mrs. Anderson was a retired employee of Cameron Pottery, and a member of the Cameron Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvia Franklin Anderson; an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann Anderson; a granddaughter, Mary Evelyn Doty Gaines; seven brothers; six sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Paul J. (Sharon) Clutter of Moundsville and Raymond C. (Frances) Anderson of Akron, OH; three daughters, Virginia M. (Cecil, Sr.) Richmond of Akron, Mary M. Doty of Moundsville, and Marsha L. Hay of Jamestown, LA; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews
