Jane Lois Brown, 87 of Middleburg died quietly at her residence Wednesday with family at her side. Mrs. Brown had been a resident of Clay County since 1998 having moved from San Jose, CA. Her church membership was with Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her volunteer work with Kaiser Permanente Hospital of Santa Clara, CA. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Bill Brown, 2 sons Bill (Melinda) Brown and Richard Brown, 1 daughter Kristi (Bruce) Husted, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, August 24, 2010 in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 am Tuesday prior to the service in the chapel of Russell Haven of Rest. A memorial Service will also be held 10:00 am Wednesday August 25, 2010 in the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church 6551 Argyle Forest Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32244 or Alzheimer's Assoc 4237 Salisbury Rd, Suite 310, Jacksonville, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery and Funeral Home, 2315 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL.
