Funeral services for W.D. (Bill) Nigh, 69, are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday from Minton Memorial Chapel. The Rev. James G. Glenn, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Mr. Nigh was a resident of Borger for 12 years. He owned and operated Bill's Bicycle Shop here until his recent retirement. He died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Wilmette, Ill.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Iola, Kans., and interment there will be under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Surviving are his wife, of the home, 1202 Roberts; two sons, George W. and Charles G. of Borger; a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Neall of Detroit, Mich.; his mother, Mrs. Lucy S. Nigh of Warren, Mass.; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
