Services for B. A. "Buddy" McDonald will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev. Bob Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.

McDonald, 71, of Alexandria died Monday, July 21, 1997, in Rapides General Hospital.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and a conductor for the Rock Island Railroad during his working life. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion and AmVets. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Audie McDonald of Alexandria; two stepsons, Wayne Shiver of Powder Springs, Ga., and Brian Shiver of Alexandria; one daughter, Pamela Stitzel of Hamilton, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Jackie Jarred of Alexandria; one granddaughter, five stepgrandchildren and one step-greatgrandchild.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1605 Murray Street, Suite 120, Alexandria, La. 71301.
