Keturah was the daughter of James Benson and Susan B Murray, The family moved from Maryland to Darke Co., Ohio before 1838. On April 21, 1853 she married Conrad Roberts. They had 8 children James Wesley, Samuel Edward, Susan Rebecca, Cecilia Jane, Harriet Etta, Mary Leola, Sarah Adda, Vernon Virgil. After 1870 the family moved to Nelson, Nuckolls Co., Nebraska. In the late 1890's Conrad and Keturah moved with their daughter Mary Leola and her husband Evan Vore to Selma, California.
