Aanenson, Dale Phillip 63, died Monday, September 22, 2008 from a bicycle accident near his home in Blaine, MN. He was born the 3rd son of Russell and Florence Aanenson, April 9, 1945 in Luverne Community Hospital, Luverne, MN. Dale was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne, MN. Dale grew up on the farm in Magnolia, MN before moving to Minneapolis, MN in 1965. Dale married Marvie Lynne House on June 7, 1969 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mound, MN. Dale and Marvie resided in Fridley, MN and attended St. Phillips Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN. Dale worked at Onans/Cummins. He retired June 30, 2007 after 38 years of service. After retirement, Dale and Marvie moved to Cloverleaf Courts in Blaine, MN. Dale enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding his bike, watching old movies and listening to music. He will be missed by his wife, Marvie; brothers, Keith (Audrey) of Luverne, MN, Lee (Caryl) of Oakdale, MN, Alan (Jan) of Dent, MN and Gene (Deb) of Luverne, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Russell and Florence Aanenson; and brother, Terry. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, Sept. 26 at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 6180 NE Hwy 65, Fridley (763-571-1500). Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church.
