The funeral service for Olive A. Nordeen of the Masonic Home in Bloomington, Minnesota will be held at 1 p.m Monday at West Freeborn Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Olive died Friday, August 14, 1998 at the Masonic Home. She was 88.
Olive was born July 7, 1910 near Manchester, to John and Caroline(Hallum)Aasen. She has resided in the Manchester area.
She moved to St. Paul and then to Waseca until 1966 when she moved to Bloomington and later to New Richland and then to Masonic Home.
Olive was a member of the West Freeborn Lutheran church.
She married Alvin Vincent Nordeen on September 3,1955. Olive worked for Sears in the accounting department.Armour Foods, she owned Carlson Food Market in Waseca and worked for Wolf's in Waseca.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, and she enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by he husband Alvin Nordeen of Masonic Home. Two children; James Robert Nordeen(Nancy) of Gillette, Wyoming and Carolyn Mary Nordeen of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.
Step daughter, Frances Pfaff of Springfield, Oregon.
Two grandchildren; Sarah Elizabeth abd Kathie Rose
Brothers and sisters; Agnes Hartz(Lyth) of Albert Lea, Ruth Solheid of St. Paul, Edgar Aasen(Doris) of Albert Lea,Carroll Aasen(Margaret) of Albert Lea, Lillian Young of New Richland, Pail Aasen of Illinois and Oscar Aasen of Hartland.
Olive was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Eric Aasen and sister, Inga Olson.
