Tom Falls
Fletcher
A retired Fletcher farmer, Tom Falls, 82, died about 6 a.m. Saturday at his home here. Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fletcher Methodist church. Rev. E.L. Knowels, minister of the local Assembly of God church, and Rev. B. F. Jones, Methodist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under direction of Dalton Funeral Home.

Born Feb. 3 1877 in Greenville, Tenn., Falls moved to Stephens county in 1896, then east of Fletcher in 1916. He was a former member of the Sunny Slope school board and had farmed near Fletcher until 1947 when he retired and moved into town.

Survivors include his wife, Mandy, of the home: six daughters, Mrs. Roy Sessums, Los Angeles, Calif.: Miss Myrl Falls and Mrs. Ike Proctor, both of Barstow, Calif.; Mrs. Lester Milam and Mrs. Marvin Cole, both of Inspiration, Ariz,; a stepson, Cleon Jones, Anadarko, a brother, J. M. Falls, Maples, Tex.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
