She entered Guyana on August 10, 1977. She was an adopted daughter of Marceline Mae Baldwin Jones and Rev. James Warren Jones, Sr. Adopted sister of Stephan Gandhi Jones and adopted Jimmy Jones, Jr. aka James Warren Jones, Jr. who survived the event of November 18, 1978 because they were playing basketball for the Jonestown team in Georgetown, Guyana. She was adopted by the Jones when she was 9 years old because her birth mother was unable to care for her. Her other adopted siblings, Lew Eric Jones and Timothy Tupper aka Timothy Glenn Tupper Jones, Tim "Day" Jones died in Jonestown as did her parents, Marceline and Rev. Jim. She was partner of Forrest Ray Jones. Mother of Billy Jones aka William Dillon Dean, Billie Jones; Jimbo Jones aka James Arthur Jones, James Arthur Bishop; Stephanie Jones aka Stephanie Lynn Bishop; and Michael Ray Jones all died in Jonestown. She is survived by one child born on January 3, 1968 who placed for private adoption.
