KILLBUCK Garnet M. Owen, 82, of Killbuck, died Saturday evening, Jan. 28, 2006, at Sunset View Nursing Home, Millersburg, after a short illness.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. John Damron officiating. Burial will be at Killbuck Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Garnet was born Aug. 4, 1923, in Glenmont to Frank and Cecil (Bucy) Zollars and married Lloyd Owen. He died in 1964.

She worked at the Rice-Chadwick Rubber Co. in Killbuck, retiring in 1988, and was a volunteer at Pomerene Hospital and Killbuck Museum.

She was a member of Killbuck Church of Christ.

Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Bonifacio of Lordstown; grandchildren, Anngella (Mark) Noark and John Thompson; a step-granddaughter, Maria Vennette; great-grandchildren, Nickolas and Erika Noark; step-great-grandchildren, Jennifer Jones and Tom Neiswanger; and sisters, Helen Shedron of Millersburg and Ada Hawkins of Killbuck.
