She was a native of Early Branch, S.C. and had resided here for the past 10 years. She was a master cook, and a member of First Baptist Church, serving in the senior choir.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Leo C. Chase Sr. Memorial Chapel. Rev. Michael McConnell, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5-9 p.m. at Chase Chapel.
She is survived by one sister, Queen E. Mitchell (George), St. Augustine; nephews, Richard Anderson (Juanita), Michael Richards (Sarah), Tymothy Mitchell (Rosa Mae); nieces, Myra Mills, Dr. Cynthia Clarke (William), many grand-nieces, nephews, cousins, including Annie Rutledge.
