William Jennings is buried at Hannah, as well as his daughter Louisa Adeline (Jennings) Bailey & her daughter, May Belle (Bailey) Athon, who is my Great Grandmother. It has been found that his wife and mother of their children Nancy Jane Prince Jennings has a stone next to the daughter Mary in Springfield Mo but I believe their Mary E got mistaken with ours and her father was Henderson Jennings not William Jackson. Both Mary E had a mother named Nancy. I found Henderson Jennings living in Adair, MO Clay township in 1860 with a daughter Elizabeth. Our Nancy Jane and William Jackson Jennings were in Sullivan Co, Mo in 1870, Monroe, IN in 1850, and Cumberland, IL in 1860. It is still believed that Nancy Jane too was buried at Hannah Cem.Most believed Nancys maiden name to be Watson because her mother had remarried to a Watson in Indiana and William and Nancy's marriage gives her maiden name as Prince along with her mother Amys marriage to William Watson as formerly Amy Prince. Daughter Louisa has several children & Grandchildren buried here also. William Jennings Father was born in England according to Census records but Fathers name hasn't been found yet. His Mother was born in Kentucky and is thought to be Clemency Barnhill.
