Luella A. Alf, age 90 of Berlin, died Wednesday November 1, 2006 at Juliette Manor in Berlin.
She was born July 11, 1916 in the Town of Seneca, Green Lake County, WI, the daughter of Julius and Anna Abel Wobschall. She attended Fairburn School. On November 26, 1936, she was united in marriage to Arden A. Alf. Luella was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church at Fairburn and Thrivent for Lutherans.
She is survived by her husband, Arden of Berlin; a daughter, Delores and her husband Arnie Sumter of Avon Park, FL; three grandchildren Jill (Jim) Sharkey of Lake In The Hills, IL, Bruce (Debora) Sumter of WI Dells, WI, and Craig Sumter of Germantown; two great-granddaughters, Morgan Sumter and Skylar Sharkey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Eugene on October 7, 2006; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fairburn, the Rev. Gregory Sluke officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the church on Saturday from noon until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the Church.
