Keith was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

His business career began as the owner of a 5-chair barbershop in Dubuque. With the advent of urban renewal, Keith sold his shop and began his work in radio sales at KDTH-Dubuque. Keith spent the next 35 years in radio sales and management in Chicago, also in Beloit, Wausau and Madison, Wis., also Jefferson City, Mo., at KLDZ in Lincoln, and for professional media.

Active in Jaycees and Sertoma in Dubuque. Founder of Sertoma in Dubuque and past gold coat governor, State of Iowa Sertoma. Board member, Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, board president for the Salvation Army, Chamber of Commerce, and on various civic committees in Jefferson City, Mo.
Keith was always a Marine and a very proud American. He loved family, friends, American history, politics, grilling, gardening, his cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks and John Wayne movies.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Valentine Frommelt of Lincoln; son, Timothy John Frommelt of Cedar Rapids; daughter and son-in-law Susan Marie and Cory Struchen of Cedar Rapids; granddaughters, Hannah Evelyn, Abigail Suzanne and& Sadie Valentine; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Bud Friedlein of Guttenberg; sister-in-law, Bonnie Frommelt of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Burton and Duane; and nephew, Todd.
