Notes for JOHN OWEN DRAPER, JR.: John Owen Draper, Jr., actually prefers to be called by his middle name, Owen. In the early 1970's, Owen ran Draper's Auction Barn on Mill Street in the Village of Hannibal. The structure is now owned by the Village and is located on the south side of the street near the bridge and dam on Nine Mile Creek. Owen and his wife, Mary, were charter members of the Hannibal Historical Society located in the Hannibal Community Center on Oswego Street in the Village of Hannibal. After Mary died, Owen later married Marilyn. Marilyn was quite ill. However, Owen was doing fairly well.
