Charles "Zeke" Palmer Sponaugle, Jr., 52, of Louisa, died on Sunday, August 22, 2010, at his residence.
He was born on December 17, 1957, in Richmond, Virginia to the late Charles Palmer Sponaugle and Clara Jane Twigg Sponaugle.
Mr. Sponaugle is survived by one daughter, Stacy Sponaugle; two sons, Richard "Ricky" Sponaugle and Joseph "Joe" Sponaugle all of Louisa, VA; five sisters, Carol Anthony, Kathy Farmer, Kitty Cooper, Angela Hawk and Jenny Sponaugle; three brothers, Jerrel Steadman, Denny Sponaugle, and Jimmy Sponaugle; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles "Charlie" P. Steadman Jr. and his parents, Charles Palmer Sponaugle and Clara Jane Twigg Sponaugle.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Thomasson Watson Funeral Chapel, Louisa. Conducted by the Rev. Josh Turner.
