Mr. Sexton married Ruth Mae Ott, his second wife, on March 2, 1938 in McAlester. She preceded him in death. Services were held November 20 at Cane Hill Methodist Church in Bentley. Internment was at Buffalo Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Sexton was first married to Bessie Davis. She preceded him in death also.
