He was born March 19, 1966, in Honolulu to Merrill Patrick and Jacqueline Elizabeth (Schaffer) Evans. He grew up in Hawaii, Rhode Island, Spain, California and Washington.
Mr. Evans graduated from Olympic High School in 1984. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1988, achieving the rank of lance corporal.
Survivors include his parents; his grandmother, Roselle Evans of Silver Spring, Md.; and two brothers, Jeffrey of Los Angeles and Glenn of Silverdale.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
