Frances A. (Knowlton) Alcorn, 90, of 200 Pleasant St., died Sunday, June 22, 1997, at New Hampshire Odd Fellows Home in Concord.

Mrs. Alcorn was a member of Fidelity Rebekah Lodge No. 14 of Concord. She was born in Concord, daughter of Herbert and Idella (Smith) Knowlton.

Mrs. Alcorn was predeceased by her husband, Ernest R. Alcorn, who died in 1988.

Survivors include a son, George R. Alcorn of Dracut, Mass. four daughters, Barbara J. Johnson of Hudson, Edna M. Aversa of Everett, Mass., Betty L. Nelson of Taunton, Mass., and Phyllis L. Laughton of Ocala, Fla. a brother, Robert Knowlton of Concord a sister, Sherrie Jolly, of San Diego, Calif. 17 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The Bennett Funeral Home in Concord is in charge of arrangements.
