Agnes L. Staedtler, 95, of Clyde, Kan., formerly of Gilliam, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, in Atlanta, Ga.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Horigan Chapel in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in St. Joseph. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel in St. Joseph. Memorials are suggested to Clifton-Clyde Ministerial Association, 413 N. High, Clyde, KS 66938.

Born Jan. 31, 1909, in Gilliam, she was the daughter of the late Andrew V. and Lucy K. Highbarger Cross. On April 20, 1929, in St. Joseph, she married Frank Staedtler, who preceded her in death March 8, 1973. She lived in the Evanston, Ill., and Arlington Heights, Ill., areas during most of her working years and was personnel director for Muntz TV Inc. and Television Manufacturers of America Co. in Wheeling, Ill. In 1979, she moved to Clyde, Kan., where a sister lived.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
