Born January 19, 1943, in Charleston, he was the last surviving of eight children to the late Allen Benjamin Clark and the late Hattie Breaker Clark Spell.
Mr. Clark served his country in the South Carolina National Guard and was a carpenter, mostly working for himself, but also having worked with Mr. Thomas Berry.
He attended the Walterboro Church of God and will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing the local creeks of Colleton County, crabbing at Wiggins Landing, and playing a good hand of cards; as well as his love and talent of hosting many wonderful cookouts that were always enjoyed by family and friends.
Surviving are: two daughters, Lori Ann Smoak and husband David of Walterboro and Lisa Marie Clark of Walterboro; son, Johnny Frasier of Wagner; and five grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammie Annette Clark.
Interment was in Glendale Memorial Cemetery.
