Carl "Wayne" Copley, 76, died at home and went to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007. He was born in Blossburg. He was formerly from Covington and moved to Bradenton, Fla. In 2000. He retired from dairy farming in 1975. He was also a heavy equipment operator, retiring from that occupation in 1996, following an accident. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie M. Spencer Copley; his second wife, Barbara Ann Copley; and his father, Wayne Claude Copley. He is survived by his wife, Margaret [Pegi] Anne Matz Copley; his mother Nellie L. Parsons Copley; his brother, Jerome K. Copley, married to Nina Mae Bowers Copley; and two sisters, Audrey A. Snyder, married to Dane C. Snyder, Cheryl J. Loudenslager, married to Dayton [Butch] Loudenslager. Survivors also include three children, Claudia J. Root, married to Raymond E. Root, Brian S. Copley, Randall J. Copley, married to Pansy Copley; plus two step-children, Aimee C. Hobwood, Mark R. Hobwood; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. A private interment was held at Manatee Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 28.
