Sioux Falls ~ Jessica Rae DeLaTorre, 8, died Saturday, April 9, 2005.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 14, 2005 at East Side Lutheran Church with interment at Hills of Rest Memorial Park in Sioux Falls, SD.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 13 at George Boom Funeral Home with the family present from 7:00 – 8:00 PM.

Jessica Rae DeLaTorre, daughter of Camerino Tito DeLaTorre and Dawn Semmler, was born November 18, 1996 at Sioux Falls, SD. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church. Jessica had attended Lowell Elementary, and was currently a 2nd grader at Garfield Elementary School in Sioux Falls.

Jessica was a happy girl who always had a smile to give to others. She was very friendly and outgoing. She was a bit of a tom-boy growing up with two brothers. Jessica enjoyed cats, playing games, cooking with her grandmother, and playing with her friends.

Grateful for having shared her life are her mother, Dawn Semmler and her friend, Tyrone King, Sioux Falls, SD; her father, Camerino Tito DeLaTorre and his friend, Christine Pringle, Sioux Falls, SD; two brothers, Jordon and Joshua Semmler, Sioux Falls, SD; paternal grandmother, Norma Carver, Sioux Falls, SD; paternal grandfather, Camerino DeLaTorre, Sr., Sacramento, CA; uncle and aunts, Anthony Carver and his wife, Angela, Kansas City, KS, Yolanda Grose, KY, Corinne Harris, Sioux Falls, SD, and her aunt and godparents, Tami Hochhalter and her husband, Steve, Sidney, MT; her cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Roland "Duke" Semmler.
