Melissa Hedrick's unclaimed cremains were discovered by Washington state volunteers of the Missing In America Project. The ashes were recovered by MIAP, then shipped home in May 2021 to be buried alongside her husband Adam in the Union Cemetery, aka Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Deweese, Nebraska.
Nuckolls County Veteran Service Officer provided assistance to MIAP to accomplish this mission.
