Pearl married James Isaac Franklin (Jim) BAKER in Moody, McLennan Co, TX, on 26 Oct 1912. About 1917, the family moved from McLennon Co, TX to a farm & dairy on the NW corner of Main Street & Berry Rd. on the West side of Norman, OK. In 1945 they sold the Miseltoe Dairy and moved to Phoenix AZ when son Wayne was diagnosed with severe asthma. Pearl divorced Jim about 1946/47 after Pearl learned about Jim's infidelity. Pearl lived in Phoenix, Maricopa Co, AZ, for the rest of her life.
Pearl died on 28 Nov 1954 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Phoenix, AZ, at age 58. She died 8:15 PM of a coronary occlusion due to hypertension (Ada Pearl Baker, Death Cert).

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Grimshaw Mortuary for Mrs. Ada Pearl Baker, 58, who died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was the mother of Wayne M. Baker, a salesman in The Arizona Republic and The Phoenix Gazette classified advertising department.
Mrs. Baker, born in Rome, Ga., came to Phoenix in 1945. She lived at 3009 N. 19th. Ave., and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is also survived by two other sons, George E. of Norman, Okla., and James W. of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. G.S.(Eldora) McDermitt of Phoenix; three brothers, A.P. Whitehead of Oakland, CA., and John and W.R. Whitehead of Temple, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Davis of Menlo Park, Calif., and Mrs. L.B. Dickenson of Moody, Tex.; and three grandchildren.
BAKER, Ada Pearl, Services 2 p.m. today in the Chapel of the First Baptist Church. Dr. R.N. Dutton will officiate.
