Mary Alice Hooper, eldest known child of William Henry Harrison Hooper (s. of Thomas Hooper and Selina Hatcher) and his first wife Amanda Elizabeth Owens (dau. of John Wesley Owens and Louisa Matilda Williams). Mary Alice was b. July 17, 1867 likely at Conway County, Arkansas. Despite the fact that her gravestone claims she was b. on July 17, 1864, her parents did not m. of public record at Conway County, AR until Feb. 9, 1865. Mary d. Sept. 24, 1952 at Tulsa, OK.

In circa 1890 or 1891, Mary m. William Gibson Fipps, s. of Moses Fipps and Anna Ellis. He was b. Oct. 16, 1859 at Lawrence County, AR and d. Aug. 12, 1926 at Madill, OK. Their nine children are outlined in their father's memorial.
