COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Mary Alice Terry Bennett, 80, of Knoxville, formerly of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bennett died on Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital in Knoxville.
She was born on Sept. 11, 1918, in Putnam County, to the late Talton and Clare Judd Terry. Mrs. Bennett was with US Rubber Co. for several years.
Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Bernadine Bennett of Canton, Mich.; a brother, Clark Terry of Filion, Mich.; two sisters, Christine Norris of Clinton and Frances Smith of Torrence, Calif.
