Madeleine F. (Durham) McMillan, age 92 of St. John, died May 29, 2007 at the Stafford District Hospital, Stafford. Born October 30, 1914, in St. John to William E. and Luella F. (Harrouff) Durham. She spent most of her life in St. John and was a farmer, homemaker and received her obstetrics nurse's training in Kansas City, Kans.
She was a graduate of St. John High School in 1932. Memberships included First United Methodist Church, The 90's Club, First National Bank board member, CO-OP board member, all of St. John. On July 30, 1939 she married Richard McMillan at Kinsley, he preceded her in death on June 10, 2003.
Survived by three daughters; Donna McMillan, Los Angeles, Ca., Alice Lockridge, Renton, Wa., and Lora Hase, Las Vegas, NV., and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was June 2, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, St. John with pastor W. Harlan Rittgers presiding. Burial in the Fairview Park Cemetery, St. John.
Memorials to the Lucille Hall Museum or the First United Methodist Church both in care of Minnis Chapel, St. John.
