Mildred Stuckey was born on July 13, 1918 to John and Clara Sellers in Chattanooga, Comanche County, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1935.

In 1936, after the passing of her mother, Mildred's father eventually married Florence, who was a wonderful step-mother to Mildred.

Also in 1936, Mildred married Cecil Stuckey in Lawton, OK, and they from this union, they had two sons.

They eventually moved to California where they lived for 40 years before moving back to Chattanooga, OK in 1976.

In 1993, Mildred moved to Madera, CA to be closer to her sons, where she remained until her passing, at age 92. She passed away quietly at home with her family at her side on Friday, August 13, 2010.

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was full of life and loved to travel. Her family was the most important thing to her; she was surrounded by a very large loving extended family.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stuckey, her father, John Sellers, her mother Clara Sellers, her step mother-mother, Florence Sellers, her brother JC Sellers, and her great-grandson, Kevin Pira.

She is survived by two sons, and their wives, a sister-in-law, five grandchildren and their families, eight great grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family gratefully acknowledged the dedicated extended family members that took such loving wonderful care of Grandma so that she was able to remain at home.

Funeral service and interment were held in Chattanooga, Oklahoma.
