Esther Elizabeth Anderson, 95, of Lexington died Wednesday, February 18, 2009. She was born June 6, 1913, in Lexington, Oklahoma, to Charlie J. and Sarah Dee Price Williams. She attended the University of Oklahoma, East Central State and Central State College to receive her teacher's certificate. She married Merle Anderson March 3, 1935. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her sister-in-law Barbara Anderson of Lexington; nephews Carl (Gwen) Gettys Jr. and wife Gwen, John R. (Andrea) Williams and David (Martha) Anderson; and several great-nieces and nephews. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Burial will be at the Lexington Cemetery.
