CLARENCE, age 65, passed away on May 17, 2001. He was born in Baytown, Tx., grew up on a farm in Crosby, TX., and attended Crosby High School, where he played football. He served in the U.S. Army; worked as a homebuilder; and then entered the Houston Fire Department, where he chauffeured a ladder truck. He recently retired after 39 years of service. He and his wife were members of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He coached Little League sports, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and an skilled carpenter. He was a kid magnet. He is remembered as strong, gentle, honest, kind and loving. Rite of Committal and interment held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
