HENRY WILLIAMS

Funeral for Henry Wesley Williams, 88, of Route 1 Decatur, will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Austinville Church of God, with the Rev. Harold Coomer officiating.

Burial will be in Somerville Church of God Cemetery, with Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be in the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Williams died Sunday at his residence. He was a member of Austinville Church of God, a lifelong resident of Morgan County and a farmer at Florette for 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Sharp Williams; one son, Jimmy Morris Williams of Pittsburg, Texas; five daughters, Evie Lee Campbell of Scottsboro, Peggy Ann Biles of Athens, Jo Nell Maxwell and Sue Johnson, both of Hartselle, and Linda Whisenant of Trintiy; two sisters, Emma Atkins of Decatur and Crusie Sharp of Priceville; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J. D. Williams, Charles Atkins, Johnny Atkins, Billy Mac Cook, Lamar Atkins and J. C. Atkins.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Austinville Church of God building fund.
