Carolyn was born in Reedley on June 21, 1936.
She attended Memorial Union and Roosevelt High Schools. She briefly attended Fresno State College before taking time off to raise four sons.
Carolyn returned to college to complete her degree in Business Administration at the age of 64. She owned and operated Carolyn's Bookkeeping Services at the time of her death.
Carolyn was a do-it-yourselfer who loved working in her yard, and caring for her birds. She dedicated herself to her sons and family.
She passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2010, with her family by her side.
She is survived by her four sons and their wives; her mother; Agnes Frech; three sisters, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass was held at St. John's Cathedral, 2814 Mariposa in Fresno on Friday, July 30, 2010 followed by burial at St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Carolyn's name may be made to the Central California SPCA in Fresno.
