Born in Colorado, she came to Sarasota in 1975 from Holmes Beach.
She was a member of PEO; Alphi Delta Pi; and a graduate of University of Colorado.
She leaves a son, Donald Heaton of Oklahoma; two grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
There will be no visitation.
