My father was born in San Eufemia/Rosaro Province, Reggio Calbria Italy. His parents were Cosmo/Chasimo and Grace/Grazia Cristina. He was the youngest of 5 children. Giuseppe (Joseph) born in 1914 and died in the Ethopia War. (never came to USA). Francesca(France) Gatto, Domenica (Mame) Scalogna, Vincenzo (Jimmy or Vincent).

He married Maria Madeline Rinaldi on Sept 4, 1949 and had three children Grace,and Amelia. He had many grandchildren that he loved dearly.

He work for New York City Sanitation and retired from there and then went to work at Florence Corp. in Jamaica Queens as a delivery driver.

He loved to work in the garden (just like all Italians do) and grow his vegetables, and watch his fig tree grow.

He died of cancer.
