Albert Edmond "Ed" Long was born in Colorado on January 13, 1921.

He was an electrical contractor for 40 years and was past president of the IBEW Local 332.

Ed was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict where he was a member of the C-B's.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather.

Ed, age 89, and a resident of Madera, CA for 8 years, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at a Fresno hospital.

Ed was preceded in death by his son Michael Long.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Long of Fresno, CA, a daughter and son-in-law, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service with Military Veteran Honors was held at Jay Chapel in Madera on Friday, August 20, 2010.
